THE SHUTTLE bus transporting people over Worcester Bridge will run from 7am tomorrow (Thursday) if it is safe to do so.
Worcestershire County Council is currently working closely with The Environment Agency and constantly monitoring river levels, but bosses have said they will not re-open Worcester Bridge until they are confident the river has dropped enough.
Current forecasts indicate that levels will not drop sufficiently overnight and tomorrow morning to allow a re-opening.
The free shuttle bus service, which is ferrying people across the bridge from the Bull Ring to Broad Street, has been extended until 10pm tonight (Wednesday).
Earlier on today when the water was rising a larger vehicle was put on to get through the higher water levels and to carry double the number of passengers.
