BUSY shoppers helped a Worcester Rotary Club blossom at a city supermarket as they raised hundreds of pounds for charity.
Members of the Worcester South Rotary Club dressed as daffodils at Tesco in Warndon in a bid to generate funds for the Marie Curie Cancer Care Daffodil Appeal.
After two days of collecting, members of the group managed to raise £993 for nursing care for people with terminal illnesses.
David Scott, of Worcester South Rotary Club, said: “Thanks go to all the shoppers at Tesco for their generous contributions.
“Members of the rotary club said they really enjoyed the experience with many people stopping to chat and give their money.”
