PUPILS and staff at a village school near Worcester are celebrating after being awarded top marks by education inspectors.
Grimley and Holt CE Primary School was rated outstanding by Ofsted in all areas of achievement, teaching, behaviour, safety, leadership and management.
It was the second successive time the school had received the accolade and headteacher Helen Hoarle said she was keen to keep improving.
“Our children, staff, families, and governors work extremely hard to make our school a special place,” she said.
“Since our previous inspection in 2010, when we were also judged to be outstanding, everyone involved has aimed for further excellence. Their hard work, commitment, and innovative dedication has sustained and improved our school year on year.
“I am so proud of everyone and it is a pleasure to lead such a team. As we embark on our future together I am confident that things can get even better.”
