Repossessions fall again

Worcester Editorial 22nd Sep, 2019   0

THE NUMBER of homes being repossessed across the West Midlands has fallen for the second time in a row.

So far in 2019, 182 properties have been seized because owners have been unable to maintain their mortgage payments.

That gives a predicted figure for the year of 546 – down almost a third on last year when 766 homes were repossessed. In 2017 the number was as high as 835.

The research, based on England and Wales Land Registry figures, has been released by WinMyDreamHome.com.
