CHILDREN at a Worcester nursery raised £75 by holding their very own bake off for charity.
Hawthorn Cottage Nursery baked their own biscuits and cakes over three days and sold them to family and friends, with all proceeds going to Children in Need.
Naomi Lloyd, deputy manager, said: “The children are always keen to take part in cooking activities when we have them so we decided to follow their lead and hold a bake off which they thoroughly enjoyed.
“We talked to the children about where the ingredients come from, encourage them to take part in the whole process which then further develops their learning process.”
