HISTORIC pudding workshops are on the menu at the Museum of Royal Worcester during half-term.
Families will be able to get hands-on making Georgian spiced fruit puddings with a jam sauce and enjoy an exclusive guided tour on Georgian food traditions.
Visitors are welcome to turn this timeless pudding into a spooky ghost for Halloween or hang it up to enjoy during the festive winter season.
The workshops have been developed through a collaboration with award-winning food historian, author and chef, Dr Neil Buttery.
Museum director Kate Travers said: “Thanks to our Arts Council England grant we can help people get hands-on with how food was prepared, shared, and enjoyed over time.
If you’re looking for something a bit different this half term, we can’t wait to welcome families to be able to make festive or spooky puddings and share this memorable and fun food experience.”
The historic pudding workshops for families are taking place on October 29 and October 30 from 1pm until 3pm.
The museum is also hosting an exclusive adult-only Georgian pudding workshop on November 23 from 2pm until 4pm, which includes a home-made spiced mulled cider, led by Dr Buttery, with an exclusive guided tour of food history in the galleries.
