Its being switched on tomorrow (Thursday) and weather permitting the Splashpad will be open from 11am until 4pm until the start of the school summer holidays.
In the summer the popular attraction for youngsters and families will see its opening hours extended from 11am until 6pm and will close again at the end of September.
Work will also begin this autumn to rebuild the Sons of Rest Pavilion which is found next to the Splashpad.

David Sutton, Deputy Director of Cleaner and Greener Delivery, said: “Gheluvelt Park is one of Worcester’s most popular destinations for people of all ages.
“It is looking fantastic with all the spring flowers in bloom, so now is the ideal time to come and visit.
“We are looking forward to welcoming visitors to the Splashpad, and will be keeping our fingers crossed for lots of warm weather over the next few months,” he added.
