AN APPEAL for information has been launched after a six-man brawl erupted on a Worcester street.

Officers are appealing for information after the fight between a group of men at about 9.30pm on Wednesday, September 29. Police received a report of a fight between two men on Linksview Crescent.

A further four men became involved in the fight and an iron bar was involved as the incident moved towards the Aconbury Close junction of Newtown Road.

Two of the men were taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital with non-life changing injuries.

Six men were arrested on suspicion of affray and released on bail. A silver Mitsubishi and a silver Mercedes were seen being driven erratically in the area and were later located.

Det Cons Natasha Kennett, from West Mercia Police, said: “This incident happened on a busy road where many cars would have been driving past.

“We would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the incident or captured the men on their mobile phone, CCTV or dash cam.”
