POLICE have released CCTV images of four young men they want to speak to in connection with the theft of thousands of pounds of fuel.
The crooks are believed to have used a fraudulent Shell fuel card between January 4 and 16, and targeted several petrol stations in the city, costing them a total of £6,454.
PC Joanne Mayo-Evans said: “The card was used numerous times daily over the 12-day period with various vehicles being filled with differing types and amounts of fuel.
“This represents a significant loss to the company and we are anxious to receive any information which might assist our inquiries.”
Police believe the four men pictured could provide information to help the investigation and have urged them to make contact.
Anyone with further information can call police on the non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
