Police hunt man who exposed himself twice

Worcester Editorial 6th May, 2014 Updated: 19th Oct, 2016   0

A MAN exposed himself to a woman and a schoolgirl in separate incidents in St John’s.

Both offences happened last Friday (May 2) morning, in Mecco alley between Bromyard Road and Greenacres Road.

A 26-year-old woman crossed a small stream by the footbridge just after 7am and at the foot of the steps in the path she saw the man exposing himself smoking a cigarette. He did not speak to her as she walked past.

The woman described him as white with a tan, mid to late 20s, 5ft 7ins, slim build, short dark brown or black hair, clean shaven, wearing a light blue t-shirt, dark blue jeans and white trainers.

Shortly after the first incident a 12-year-old girl was walking to school through the alley and also saw a man exposing himself.

Police say despite the girl describing him as having browny-blonde hair which was spiky, spots on his forehead, a short-sleeved red top and jeans, the offences are being linked due to them having happened in the same place at a similar time.

PC Rich Foxhall said: “Neither of the victims were approached or spoken to but this behavior is obviously of concern to those involved and to police.”

PC Foxhall also said it was possible there were other victims so urged anyone with further information to come forward and contact police on the non-emergency number 101 or by calling Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
