Police car crashes into garden wall

A POLICE car smashed into a garden wall after colliding with another vehicle in Northwick.

The marked vehicle, which was responding to an incident at the time, and a Seat Exeo crashed about 11.15am yesterday (Sunday) at the junction of Cornmeadow Lane on Ombersley Road.

Both vehicles left the road and ended up in the garden of a house on the corner of the two streets forcing police to divert traffic.

A 51-year-old woman, who was driving the Seat, was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital as a precaution. A police officer inside the other car was uninjured.
