POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously assaulted in Worcester.
The assault occurred at around 11pm on Monday October 20. The victim, a man in his 30s, was riding a bicycle along Tolladine Road when a Black Golf pulled out from a side road and almost collided with him.
Two men got out of the car and he was struck over the head with an object causing him to lose conscious. He was taken to hospital, having sustained serious head injuries.
Detective Constable James Potter said: “This was a serious assault with substantial injuries. We are pursuing a number of enquiries, and we are keen to identify who the offenders are.
“We would urge anyone who witnessed the assault, or who may have information to please get in touch.”
