CARING staff at a Worcester social housing and care provider have shown their support for breaking the silence which surrounds mental health in the workplace by signing the Time to Change Employer Pledge.
Sanctuary Group Chief Executive David Bennett put pen to paper on Time to Talk Day last Thursday to join a list of more than 450 organisations backing the movement, run by charities Mind and Rethink Mental Illness.
The Time to Change Employer Pledge demonstrates an organisation’s commitment to changing how people think and act about mental health in the workplace and making sure its employees who are facing these problems feel supported.
Mr Bennett said: “Our employees’ health and well-being is a key priority for us and we hope by being part of this campaign we are able to further raise awareness and destigmatise mental health.”
