WORCESTERSHIRE Harry Potter actor Mark Williams has starred in the new Beowulf musical which is heading to the Faithful City, writes Lewis Glennon.
The Bromsgrove-born actor, best known for his role as Mr Weasley in Harry Potter, narrates the play of the fantasy saga.
The 60-minute musical comes to Worcester Cathedral on October 12 .
The play brings together harpist Catrin Finch, soprano Elin Manahan Thomas and Toby Young on keyboards, as well as featuring Amronico Consort’s top professional singers and being scripted by Danny Coleman-Cooke.
Williams, who also starred in the TV series Father Brown and The Fast Show, recounts his character’s his life story, looking over his monster-slaying career and his preparation for his last battle.
