Plan your future and help make a difference to Acorns Children's Hospice

Worcester Editorial 5th Jun, 2022   0

ACORNS Children’s Hospice has joined forces with law firms across Worcestershire for a special scheme, aimed at raising vital funds towards the charity’s lifeline care and support.

Throughout June, Acorns is partnering with local law firms from across the region to provide a free Will writing service as part of the charity’s annual Make a Will Month.

Those who sign up to Acorns Make a Will Month will also be invited to support local children and families by making a voluntary donation towards the charity’s vital children’s hospice care.

Acorns legacy officer Liz Betteridge said now was the time for local residents to take control of their future by joining the scheme.

“It is free to take part in Acorns Make a Will Month and there is no obligation to make a donation to Acorns,” she said.

“A gift – however big or small – will help us continue to provide our vital children’s hospice care and create precious memories for families across Worcestershire to treasure forever.”

Acorns relies on fund-raising and donations to provide its lifeline care and support. It costs the charity £7,000 each day to run one of its three hospices.
