RESIDENTS are being reminded to ensure they choose the right NHS service if they become injured or unwell over Christmas and new year.
Some GP practices will have limited opening times throughout the festive season but there are other options, such as local pharmacies with fully-trained medical staff.
Minor ailments, such as coughs and colds, tummy troubles and more can be dealt with at the pharmacy.
On Christmas Eve most pharmacies are open during their usual times apart from Boots on the Enigma Retail Park in Malvern which is open from 8am to 9pm.
On Christmas Day Kitsons Pharmacy in Broad Street is open from 9am to 6pm and Claremont Pharmacy in Malvern from 10am to 4pm.
On Boxing Day, Asda pharmacy in Worcester is open from 9am to 6pm, Boots, Enigma Retail Park, Malvern, is open from 7am to 9pm, Boots Church Street, Malvern, from 10am to 4pm and Morrisons in Malvern is open from 10am to 4pm.
The Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) at Malvern Community Hospital, Worcester Road, is open every day from 9am to 9pm.
