STUDENTS at Bishop Perowne CE College limbered up to run a programme of sports festivals for pupils from Worcester’s primary schools.
Hockey, tri-golf, orienteering, tennis, gymnastics and athletics were all on the menu for more than 500 pupils from all year groups at Claines CE Primary School, Northwick Manor Primary School, Perdiswell Primary School, St Barnabas CE Primary School and St George’s CE Primary School.
St Barnabas was victorious at the athletic festival and St George’s Cof E Primary School at the Tri-Golf event, which took place at Ravenmeadow Golf Centre.
Headteacher Mark Pollard said: “Each event had a great atmosphere and gave the primary school pupils the chance to take part in sports they’ve never tried before.
“The students did a fantastic job and they should be proud of their accomplishments; it really highlights what can be achieved when students work as a team.”
