THERE are more problems on the M5 motorway after a crash on the northbound carriageway between Junction 6 (Worcester) and Junction 5 (Droitwich).
The collision happened about 1.15pm and involved three cars and a van.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service and West Midlands Ambulance Attendance are currently in attendance.
Three fire engines – two from Droitwich and one from Worcester – have been sent to the scene, along with a paramedic officer.
A woman has been treated at the scene for minor injuries and is currently being assessed to see if she needs to go to hospital.
Two lanes of the carriageway are currently shut and are expected to re-open between 4pm and 4.15pm.
Earlier today, at 5am, there was a crash between junctions 5 and 4a (Bromsgrove). The whole northbound carriageway was shut following that incident. Two lanes reopened at 10am and the other two were expected to reopen around 12.30pm.
