Nuisance man ordered to behave in Worcester city centre

A NUISANCE man from Worcester has been banned from shops and ordered to behave in the city centre.

Sam White, aged 19, of no fixed abode was given a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) at Worcester Magistrates Court on Thursday October 3.

The CBO follows convictions for multiple thefts within Worcester city centre, in particular Tesco Express in Foregate Street as well as behaving in a disorderly manner, being abusive, threatening to shop staff and causing significant alarm and fear to members of the public.

White was handed the CBO for three years, which prohibits him from entering Tesco Express, Foregate Street or being in the area directly outside, entering Dixy Chicken, Comberton Hill, Kidderminster, entering Co-op, Worcester Road, Malvern, refusing to leave an area or premises when asked by someone who has authority to do so, and behaving in a manner that causes a nuisance in the community within Worcester city centre.

Police sergeant Sarah England said: “We are pleased the court has granted a CBO against White whose antisocial behaviour and thefts have impacted shops and businesses in the city and further afield, and caused alarm and distress to members of the public.

“Anyone who sees White breaching the terms of his CBO should report it to us via 101 or online.”
