New website to help with mental health

Worcester Editorial 6th Oct, 2020   0

A NEW website has been launched in Worcestershire to help people access treatment, information and support for their mental health and wellbeing.

Healthy Minds – www.healthyminds.whct.nhs.uk – provides help and support for people experiencing mental health difficulties, such as stress, worry and anxiety.

It brings together the county’s Healthy Minds team and provides a range of support, including group and one-to-one therapy, online courses and self-help resources.

People can self-refer via an online form on the new Healthy Minds website, or by calling 0300 3021313.

Healthy Minds operational manager Phill Morgan-Henshaw said: “It is great that we have an online resource where people can easily and quickly get the help and information they need to support their mental health.

“Many people may be experiencing some form of stress, anxiety, worry or depression at the moment and we want to get the message out there that it is okay not to feel okay sometimes, and that help and support is available from your local NHS teams.”

The Trust also runs the Now We’re Talking campaign which will help raise awareness of the local services and the resources available.

People can also visit Twitter @NowWereTalking_ and on Facebook @NowWereTalkingWorcs
