New titles launched to aid young bookworms

Worcester Editorial 16th Feb, 2020   0

A NEW collection of books has been launched this week by The Reading Agency to help mark Children’s Mental Health Week for 2020.

The specialist collection will help support the mental health and wellbeing of children, providing them, their families and carers with information, advice and support.

All books are suitable for children in Key Stage 2 – aged seven to 11 – but include a wide range of reading levels to support less confident readers, and to encourage children to read together with their siblings and carers.

The aim is to help young people to cope with feelings and worries, daily life and getting through a tough time.

As with all children’s titles the books can be reserved free of charge online or through the library.
