WORCESTER City will officially submit their plans for a new community stadium later this month.
The football club, together with its Supporters’ Trust, have been working tirelessly over the past 18 months to put together a proposal for a new development at Perdiswell.
In November last year the Trust held a meeting to set out plans for the 4,130 seater stadium, which will include one main seating stand and a standing terrace, house a 3G pitch, three full size grass pitches outside, two nine aside grass pitches and conference and classroom facilities.
With the plans now having been drawn up, a full application for the development will be submitted to Worcester City Council on Wednesday, April 16.
On the following night, Thursday April 17, a Fans Forum will be help in the Graeme Hick Pavilion at New Road, at 7.30pm, where the final plan will be revealed and the next steps required to ensure City’s future through Community Ownership will be discussed.
