New campaign launched to support those struggling with their mental health over the winter months

Worcester Editorial 3rd Jan, 2023   0

HEREFORDSHIRE and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust have launched a new campaign promoting well-being and mental health support for people over the winter months.

The Trust is aiming to make sure people have access to the help they need over the festive period, with the campaign highlighting the range of support available across both counties.

Support includes well-being advice, online therapy and more urgent support for those experiencing a mental health crisis.

The Now we’re talking website has information and guidance to support people as well as more targeted resources to help manage stress, anxiety or low mood.

People can also access services such as SilverCloud, a free online therapy service that’s available every day including bank holidays.

Anyone who has an urgent concern about their mental health or a loved one can call 0808 196 9127 to speak to the Herefordshire and Worcestershire 24/7 urgent mental health helpline.

And people can visit www.nowweretalking.nhs.uk for information on alternative local help.
