Mums and babies can relax at new classes

Worcester Editorial 31st Jul, 2017   0

MUMS and babies are being invited to relax and bond at new classes being held in the city.

A new course of the NCT baby massage classes will kick off at the Pump House Environment Centre in Gheluvelt Park from next month.

The classes, taught by NCT teachers who have undergone extra training in baby massage skills, teach a sequence of baby massage strokes mums can use at home or out and about.

Before babies are able to speak, or even respond to sounds and sights, they actually communicate with the world around them through touch.

Courses are held over five sessions which each last an hour and a quarter and mums are welcome once babies have had their postnatal check and had their muscles and joints checked by a doctor.
