YOUNG mathematicians at Christopher Whitehead Language College and Sixth Form had all the right answers when they competed in the county-wide Sumdog maths competition.
Many students completed all 1,000 questions within the allocated week, through completing a variety of mathematical questions posed to them in a gaming situation.
Sixteen students from Christopher Whitehead were in the top 20 students across the county and they were the top achieving school on most days.
Sarah Hyett, head of key stage 3 mathematics, said: ”It is a great motivator for all students to get involved. They loved competing against each other, with some students completing the questions in less than 48 hours, most of which was done at home.”
