Mark to tell of crusade to save dolphins

Worcester Editorial 19th Mar, 2014 Updated: 19th Oct, 2016   0

A CRUSADER who travelled half way across the globe in a bid to save thousands of sea creatures from slaughter is set to tell his story next week.

Mark Muschamp travelled to Taiji in Japan to join up with members of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (SSCS) in their efforts to save thousands of dolphins, porpoises and small whales.

Next Wednesday (March 26) Mr Muschamp, who is a member of the Worcester Vegans & Veggies’ society, will be giving a talk with photographs about the work of the SSCS, the plight of whales and dolphins and his moving experiences in Taiji.

The talk takes place from 7pm until 9pm in the upstairs room at The Firefly in Lowesmoor.

Entry is free and there will be a break for drinks and free vegan snacks during the evening.
