Man who threatened driver with rope suffering with mental health issues

A MAN who threatened a driver with a rope during an incident on the road between Wick and Cropthorne is suffering with mental health issues.

Police confirmed the man was accompanied home from the scene which took place last Tuesday (May 28) evening.

One driver was run at with a rope during the incident while two further cars and a bus had parked up with their hazards on at the scene.

In a statement to the Observer, the police said: “The incident is regarding a man who is suffering from mental health issues.




“Officers attended the scene, there was no damage caused and they helped with taking the man home.”
