Man wanted for prison recall

Worcester Editorial 3rd Dec, 2013 Updated: 19th Oct, 2016   0

A MAN who went missing from a bail hostel in Worcester is being hunted by police for recall to prison.

Thomas Earthy broke the terms of his licence following his release on November 4.

The 23-year-old is originally from Shropshire but was released to a hostel in the city after serving a prison sentence for robbery.

He is described as white, 5ft 10ins tall, of a slim build with short brown hair.

Inspector Paul Hardman from Worcester police station said: “Despite our best efforts to locate Earthy, we have been unable to trace him and although officers are still looking for him, we would appeal to anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact us.

“It is thought he could be in the Droitwich area and while he is not believed to be a danger to the public, we would urge anyone who sees him to call us immediately on 101.

“We would like to remind people that anyone who is sheltering him or otherwise helping him to evade capture may also find themselves in trouble with the police.”
