Man left with serious head injuries after Bath Road collision

A PEDESTRIAN was left with serious head injuries after he was hit by a car on Bath Road on Friday evening (January 18).

Witnesses are being urged to come forward following the incident just before 8pm, following a report of a black VW Polo hitting a pedestrian.

The victim, a man in his 60s, was taken to hospital while the occupants of the car are not reported to have been injured.

The vehicle sustained damage to its front. The road was closed while the incident was dealt with and a dog found at the scene has been reunited with its owner.




Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident reference 591S of 18 January 2019 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
