Man left concussed after unprovoked assault

A MAN in his 20s was hit on the head several times during an unprovoked attack at a bar in Worcester.

It happened at Sin on New Street at about 13.20am on Saturday (November 26) when the victim left the smoking area to make his way to the dance floor.

He was then hit on the head several times causing him to fall to the floor and was taken to hospital for treatment for concussion.

The attacker is described as white, around 6ft 4in tall, aged in his early 20s with short, cropped, blond hair.




He was believed to be wearing a blue jumper and was thought to be in a group with three or four other men.

Officers are now keen for anyone who saw the assault, who witnessed anyone acting suspiciously or who was in the area at the time of the incident to come forward.


Anyone with information is urged to call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 028S of November 26.
