Man found dead in Worcester street named

A MAN found dead in a Barbourne street in the early hours of Thursday morning has been formally named.

58-year-old Keith Paul of Gheluvelt Park was discovered at about 4am in Lavender Road.

Police were called following a report a man was lying unresponsive in the street.

Mr Paul’s next of kin has been informed.




The investigation is at an early stage and the death is currently being treated as unexplained.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish the exact cause of death.


Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who may have seen Mr Paul between 11pm on Wednesday night and 4am the following morning.

Det Sgt David Hall said: “We have begun an investigation into Keith’s death. Enquiries are ongoing and we would like to hear from anyone who may be able to provide us with information that could help with our enquiries, and urge them to make contact via 101.”
