A MALVERN man has been charged with assault following an incident in Worcester over the weekend.
Jonathan Shaw, aged 29, of Mendip Close, appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates Court yesterday and has been bailed to reappear at a later date.
The charge relates to an incident in Copenhagen Street, Worcester, at 12.20am on Sunday which saw a 37-year-old man seriously injured.
He remains in hospital in a critical condition.
Police are urging witnesses to call them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
