Man banned from parts of Worcester and Malvern for aggression towards public

A MAN who was aggressive towards members of the public has been given a five-year Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) banning him from parts of Worcester and Tenbury Wells.

Lee Taylor, 34 of no fixed abode, was given the order at Worcester Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, May 16.

He had previously been sentenced for a number of offences including criminal damage, possession of cannabis and assaults on police.

The five-year CBO prohibits him from:

  • Entering Vine House, Farrier Street, Worcester where the job centre is situated
  • Entering Merkur Slots, The Cross, Worcester
  • Entering Warmstry Court, Quay Street, Worcester
  • Entering or being in any property in Severn Street, Worcester
  • Entering the Crown Pub, Broad Street, Worcester
  • Entering parts of Tenbury Wells as defined in MAP A, save for when travelling in a motor vehicle or public transport along the A456 (green road on MAP A)
  • Being on Market Street, Kidderminster where Kidderminster college is situated, or be in the grounds of the college
  • Refusing to leave a premises or area when asked by someone who has authority to do so
  • Approaching or instigating communication with any child/person under the age of 18, save for when it is a family member, or is inadvertent in everyday life, or when the parent/guardian of young person is present

PC Paul Lawman said: “We hope these restrictions will reassure businesses and the community that we take such offences very seriously and will take appropriate action where necessary.

“Anyone who sees Taylor entering the premises listed or committing an offence should report it.”
