A MAN from Worcester has been charged with a public order offence after wearing a t-shirt printed with offensive comments on the Hillsborough tragedy.
Police received reports of a man wearing the t-shirt at the Brewers Arms pub in St Johns yesterday (Sunday) and was thrown out by the landlord.
Paul Grange, 50, has been charged today (Monday) with a Section 5 Public Order Offence relating to the display of threatening and abusive sign and writing, likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
He has been bailed and will appear at Worcester Magistrates’ Court at a date yet to be set in July.
