A 44-YEAR-OLD Worcester man charged with attempted murder, possession of an offensive weapon and possession of cannabis has been remanded in custody.
Philip Mapp of Windermere Drive, Warndon, has been charged following incidents close to the Sainsbury’s in Blackpole last Wednesday (May 17)
Mapp appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Friday (May 19) where he was remanded in custody to appear at Worcester Crown Court on June 19.
A police spokesperson said: “The victim has been released from hospital and is recovering at home.”
