STAFF at a dog rescue are pleading for help in finding a home for one of their Staffys.

The Senior Staffy Club, in Broomhill, are desperate to find nine-year-old Angel a home with a caring family as she has been with them for longer than any other dog.

The Staffordshire Bull terrier was found as a stray by the dog warden in October last year, When no one claimed her she was due to be put to sleep but the club found a space for her.

The rescue are looking for an active family with children of at least eight-years-old.

Kate Lee, a trustee for The Senior Staffy Club, said: “Angel has not had much interest at all. She is stuck in kennels and getting sadder and sadder. We can not understand why as she is the most adorable girl.

“Angel is a lovely older girl who deserves a special family that will nurture her and make her happy. She has so much to give, so much love, so much fun and all she wants in return is a comfy bed, love and attention and to be your friend.

Anyone who knows of a good home for Angel is urged to contact Charlene on 07771 914 583 and can visit http://www.seniorstaffyclub.co.uk/Pages/Angel.aspx for more information .
