A BRAND-new art trail around the heart of the city has been unveiled by the Worcester Film Festival and Artists Clubhouse.
‘Lights, Camera…Paint!’ will showcase posters featuring work by local artists and organisations around the city in 20 shop windows and noticeboards for residents and visitors to walk around and find from today (Friday) to October 8.
The creative showcase has been dreamt up as part of the Worcester Film Festival to celebrate art in all its many mediums.
Organisers from the Worcester Film Festival have shared their love for film as it encompasses all art forms from visual to decorative and from graphic to architectural.
Creative minds from Artists Clubhouse have joined the event for the second year and aim to encourage everyone to get involved in creativity in some way as a benefit to their well-being, whether it’s through seeing art, discovering and talking about new films with like-minded people or having a go at creating themselves, all can be such a benefit for positive mental health.
The free event will run until October 8 with this year’s Worcester Film Festival taking place from October 5 to October 8.
