A RESILIENT centenarian headed home from hospital last Thursday, April 9 after beating coronavirus.
Keith Watson, who is 101, has spent the last two weeks on Ward 12 of the Alexandra Hospital.
Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust shared this picture of Keith and the staff on Ward 12.
They wrote: “Well done to everyone on Ward 12 at the Alexandra Hospital for looking after Keith so well for the past two weeks!”
The day was also significant because it was a Thursday, a day when, across the nation at 8pm a Clap for our Carers takes place in tribute to frontline NHS staff, carers, careworkers and all other essential staff going above and beyond the call of duty during the Covid-19 pandemic.
