Keeping it small at Christmas

Worcester Editorial 14th Nov, 2019   0

A WOMEN’s Institute Group is encouraging locals to give back to the Worcestershire economy when buying gifts for friends and family this Christmas.

Broadheath with Rushwick WI has brought together a stellar selection of more than a dozen craft stalls to present a range of beautiful handmade gifts at a Christmas Craft Fayre later this month.

Research shows that a significantly higher proportion of every £1 spent with small independent businesses will stay in the local economy than of the same sum spent with larger national companies.

Broadheath with Rushwick’s Christmas Craft Fayre is open from 11am until 4pm on Saturday (November 16) at Lower Broadheath Village Hall. Call 01905 641531 for more.
