A FORMER apprentice from Worcester-based social housing provider Sanctuary has seen her talent recognised with a hat-trick of top awards.
Katie Davies was named Intermediate Apprentice of the Year at the Worcestershire Apprenticeship Awards.
She also earned Level Two Commerce Apprentice of the Year at the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Group Training Association (HWGTA) awards.
These latest successes come after Katie was named Intermediate Apprentice of the Year at the West Midlands regional finals of the National Apprenticeship Awards earlier this year.
Katie, who now works as a resourcing planner at Sanctuary after successfully completing her customer service apprenticeship, said:
“I’m so proud to win these awards and I’d like to say the biggest thank you to Sanctuary and everyone who has supported me during my apprenticeship.
“Choosing this apprenticeship was one of the best decisions I ever made. It’s been incredibly rewarding. I’m proud of how my career is progressing and excited to see what comes next.”
The recent awards ceremonies brought several other successes for the Sanctuary team.
In addition Michelle Wood, Sanctuary’s Group Head of Learning and Development, was named Apprentice Ambassador of the Year. Meanwhile Matthew Wright was a finalist in the Higher Apprentice of the Year category.
Meanwhile at the HWGTA awards, Elina Rizos won the Excellence in Accountancy award and Jacob Davies was a finalist in the same category.
Elina, Jacob and Matthew have all also secured permanent roles at Sanctuary.
