West Mercia Police have released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the unprovoked assault in Alexander’s Wine Bar on New Street at around 1am on Saturday March 14.

The victim, an 18-year-old man, was on the dance floor when another man struck him in the face with a glass resulting in him sustaining minor facial injuries.

The offender is white, around 22-years-old, 6ft 1ins, with facial stubble and dark blonde or light brown short hair, and was wearing either a blue or grey round neck jumper.

Police are eager to trace the man in the images as they believe he may be able to help with their inquiries.
