OVER 200 advent calendars have been donated to Worcester foodbank.
The big-hearted gesture was made by staff at recruitment firm Pineapple Recruitment.
Business manager Kasia Krieger said: “The special gift of a chocolate advent calendar makes a big difference to any child who has to spend this Christmas in food poverty.
“We don’t want any kids to go without and everyone here at Pineapple Recruitment wants to ensure that parents who are using the foodbank here in Worcester can get hold of an advent calendar easily.
“We want to help put smiles on as many faces as possible and are delighted to have been able to donate the advent calendars.”
Grahame Lucas from Worcester Foodbank added: “We are very appreciative to Kasia and the whole team at Pineapple Recruitment for thinking of the children which will mean so much to them.”
