How much would you pay for policing in Worcester?

Worcester Editorial 2nd Jan, 2024   0

COUNTY residents have less than a week to have their say on Police and Crime Commissioner John Campion’s budget proposals.

A consultation on the budget plans closes on Sunday (January 7) and Mr Campion hopes Worcestershire residents will speak up.

The PCC’s budget pledges greater visibility and accessibility of police officers, better quality investigations and outcomes and improved public contact.

Mr Campion said:

“One of the biggest decisions I make ever year is setting the budget and the wider work to support victims and prevent crime.”

“I have to make tough choices about the Council Tax you pay towards policing.

“To inform my decision, it is vitally important that you complete my consultation.
