FANS of actress and broadcaster Lesley Joseph will have the chance to hear stories from her career at a virtual fund-raising evening for a Worcestershire hospice.
Best known for playing Dorien Green in the sitcom Birds of a Feather, Lesley is set to take part in the event for St Richard’s Hospice from 7.30pm on Tuesday, April 13 via Zoom video call.
Lesley said: “I am so pleased to spend some time with you all this evening to share a little of my life in show business, and to raise some money for such a wonderful cause.”
The actress’ varied career on stage and screen has seen her feature in musical theatre productions such as Calendar Girls, Annie, and Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein in the West End for which she was nominated for an Olivier Award.
In 2016, she appeared on Strictly Come Dancing with dance partner Anton Du Beke – before joining the subsequent arena tour.
And Lesley starred in the BBC’s Pilgrimage: The Road To Rome, where she embarked on a pilgrimage from the Swiss Alps to Rome and met the Pope.
