HOMEOWNERS have been warned to be on their guard after the front door of a property on Checketts Lane was tried early this morning (Sunday).
A resident on The Drive was alerted by her dog of an unknown person or persons trying the handle of the front door at about 7.55am, the gate to the property was also left open.
No entry was gained bur local officers will be in the area during the day.
