Hanley Swan Primary School invites all to summer fayre

Worcester Editorial 27th May, 2024   0

THERE will be plenty of fun and games for the whole family at Hanley Swan Primary School’s upcoming summer fayre.

The fayre, organised by the school’s Parent and Friends Association (PFA), takes place on Friday, June 21, from 3.30pm to 5.30pm, on the playing field at Hanley Swan Primary School.

A whole host of activities and games will be on offer, along with stalls, inflatables, bar, food, music, and a candy floss machine.

Activities include an inflatable fun run, inflatable gladiator duel, obstacle course, goalie shoot out, animal corner, face painting, and traditional games such as hook a duck, splat the rat and tombola.

The Midlands Air Ambulance will also be in attendance with their Helipod, a decommissioned helicopter pod where families will be able to see a real-life example of the helicopter and how they transport patients.

Mr Pratley, Headteacher of Hanley Swan Primary School said: “We are really looking forward to this year’s summer fayre, it is always a popular event with lots of fun activities taking place.

“It is also a great opportunity for prospective families and new starters to meet our friendly staff and children.

“Everyone is welcome, and we encourage people to come along and have some good family fun.”

All proceeds will go towards funding educational trips, school equipment, learning resources, and much more.
