ASPIRING bird watchers are being invited to an open day being held at Wildgoose Nature Reserve near Grimley.
The Beginning Birding Open Day is being held by the Worcester and Malvern RSPB Group on Saturday, April 30 from 10am to 3pm.
Activities will include guided walks around the reserve and there will be observation points to view birds at the feeding station and water birds on the lake. Weather permitting, there will be bird ringing demonstrations during the morning.
Members will be present to chat to visitors about the group, the conservation projects it runs to assist birds and to explain how visitors can become involved themselves.
