A HALLOWEEN race for hospice care is set to take place near Worcester.
St Richard’s Hospice is holding a Spooky Sprint fundraiser at Norton Parish Hall on Sunday October 27.
Open to families, groups, and runners of all abilities, participants can choose between a 5K or 10K professionally-timed route.
Hospice spokesperson Sofia Gunster said: “We can’t wait to see everyone in their most ghoulish get-up ready to run for hospice care.
“Everyone who completes the race will be rewarded with a medal and well-deserved Halloween treat.
“Not only will it be a fun way to celebrate Halloween in style, this event raises vital funds for our care as runners gain sponsorship from their friends and families for their efforts. We hope to see you there.”
The route starts at Norton Parish Hall and takes runners on a road-race through the village and surrounding area. There will be prizes for the race winners and the creepiest running outfit.
