French peers visit city

Worcester Editorial 27th Mar, 2014 Updated: 19th Oct, 2016

CITY students said bonjour to their French peers as they took part in a special school exchange.

Ten youngsters from Catholic school St Adrien, in Lille, made the trip across the Channel to attend a week of studying at Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College in Worcester.

Teachers Brigitte Botte and Catherine Pochopien were also present on the trip, which was hosted by Year 9 and 10 pupils.

The week-long exchange started on Monday (March 25) and runs until Friday (March 29) with students given the opportunity to meet the Mayor, visit Warwick Castle and see the historical Stratford-upon-Avon.
