Free breakfast club pops up in Warndon

Worcester Editorial 6th Oct, 2018   0

A FREE pop-up breakfast club will take place between 9.15am and 10.30am every Monday at the Oasis Academy Community Hub in Warndon.

The hub was created after the former caretaker’s house on the school site was converted into a space for residents to use for community activities.

The breakfast club is free and is open to everyone living in the community and children of all ages are welcome.

A family support worker, along with Fortis Living employees, will be available at each one to offer advice and support.

Caroline Winnall, Fortis Living’s health and wellbeing co-ordinator, said: “We are delighted to launch this community focused breakfast café.

“Situated on the school site, it will offer a welcome space for parents and toddlers after the school drop off.

“There will be plenty of advice and support on offer and, importantly, everyone is welcome and breakfast is free.”

The hub provides community space for local residents including baby and toddler groups, debt advice sessions and adult learning sessions.

Rooms are also available to local community groups and businesses to hire out.

Call Caroline Winnall on 01905 670258 or email her at [email protected] for more information.
